WORLD MOUNTAIN PEOPLE ASSOCIATION

Call for project to enable local authorities from Cameroon an access to drinking water.

Most of mountain people from Cameroon cannot access drinking water, due to geographical and physical conditions, the strong density of population, their isolation and poverty. The Association Mairie-Conseils together with the Association of Local Authorities of Cameroon are encouraging and supporting mountain local communities in their efforts through a programme called « Facilité des Collectivités locales du Cameroun pour l’eau ». It is supported at the international level by WMPA with the aim of finding partnerships to support and cofinance projects that concern more than 100 municipalities of mountain areas in Cameroon.
